Mohd Abdur Rasheed
Mr. Mohammed Abdur Rasheed is Board member of SAHULAT Microfinance Society and has been associated with the Society since its inception in 2010. Born on 8th December 1960 and trained in Finance & Marketing with a degree of MBA, his area of expertise is Islamic Banking, Administration and Education. He was instrumental in launching the Islamic Financial Products in the early nineties in Maharashtra. Mr. M. A. Rasheed is also associated with a number of organizations under various capacities namely President - Al-Ameen Educational & Welfare Society, Mumbra, Thane, Maharashtra, Founder Trustee - Al Qalam Educational & Welfare, Society, Jogeshwari (West), Mumbai, Treasurer - Al Aqsa Educational & Welfare Society, Mumbra, Thane, Maharashtra, Member - India Centre for Islamic Finance, New Delhi, Chief Executive Officer - Thane District Rural Muslim Welfare Organisation (Tanzeem). He is keen interested in current affairs & social upliftment. He is also fond of reading and travelling. He has been awarded “Al Ameen Community Service Award in 1992”. He attended at the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as Observer in the year 1999.
